A ballast water chamber adds weight so stock cannot tip or shift the trough when it runs low, and a float cover protects the inlet valve. Dust that settles on top of the water turns to sludge at the bottom over time. The swept end design lets you clear that dust and sludge straight out using a Polymaster sweep broom, without draining and refilling the trough. Less water wasted, less time spent on maintenance.
A ballast water chamber adds weight to the trough, so stock cannot tip it over or shift it around even when the drinking water level runs low. The same chamber helps keep the drinking water cooler, and the float cover protects the inlet valve from being damaged by stock.
