High Voltage Solar Panel

iTechWorld 150W Hard Frame Solar Panel 42V / 49V

A 150W high voltage hard frame solar panel with HPX PRO monocrystalline cells and Raptor Skin coating, available in 42V or 49V open circuit voltage. Only 17mm thick and IP67 rated. Designed and developed in Australia by iTechWorld.

✓ 150W Output✓ High Voltage 42V or 49V✓ 17mm Thin Profile✓ IP67 Waterproof
  • Lower current, less voltage drop
A higher voltage panel needs smaller wire gauge over long cable runs
  • HPX PRO technology
    Reduces power loss under shade
  • Suits all battery types
Pair with an MPPT charge controller
  • Hard aluminium frame
Built for roof and external mounting

Check Your Controller First

You will need an MPPT charge controller rated for an input voltage above the panel's open circuit voltage. The 42V panel is not compatible with iTechWorld DCDC chargers, which accept a maximum of 32V input. Choose a 22V panel if you are using one. Only connect panels with a matching open circuit voltage. Mounting brackets are sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the advantage of a high voltage panel?

A higher voltage panel produces less current for the same power, which means less voltage drop over long runs and smaller wire gauge requirements.

Which charge controller do I need?

An MPPT controller rated for a high input voltage above the panel's open circuit voltage.

Can I mix these with other panels?

Only panels with the same open circuit voltage should be connected together, in series or in parallel.

Does heat affect performance?

Performance decreases in high ambient temperatures, so allow ventilation around the panel.

Do you offer a price match guarantee?

Yes. Found it cheaper elsewhere? Let us know and we will do our best to beat it.
