I haven't purchased a lot of ItecWorld products, but what I have has been first class products. In respect to the RB4.5 Generator I have some Pro's & Cons:
1)Pros: I love the electric start, the remote start, The oil filler/drain screw in hose. Simple but very good idea/ No mess at all. The digital readout for fuel gage, voltage, watts usage, hour meter & frequency is great! Among other good things with this genset.
2) Cons: Before purchasing I downloaded the User Manuel pdf, I was drawn to the fact that the pictures on the manual showed a fuel Cock/Tap. This must be from an earlier model as the one I received did not have this. So I cannot shut the fuel off and let the genset run the lines empty of fuel. The user Manuel that came with the Genset had the same picture. Probably my fault as I should not relied on this and made a phone call. The problem in Darwin is (maybe the unleaded fuel is different to down south), If the fuel is not run out of the lines and carburetor and the genset is not used for 3 or 4 weeks they can gum up. (Not sure with EFI as this one is.) But would imagine the same issue!
3) A 12-month Australian Government Mandatory Warranty doesn't instill a lot of confidence along with the fact that it has to be serviced by a third party. If it needs repairs, I will have to send it back to Perth paying for freight probably about $300 all up to & from! That won't happen so effectively, for me the Warranty is no good. However, having said all that I'm sure it will give me good service. I will service it myself. If we are up along the Gulf of Carpentaria, I will have no option. One other great thing, I bought this through HomsteadHaven and it arrived in Darwin in about 8 Days! Amazing!

Love our new redback generator, took it camping and works perfect for our setup. Lester was great, excellent service and the generator arrived quickly. Would buy from them again
