A Hybrid Pump Built For Sewer And Black Water
The grinder and macerator pump is the all-rounder for wastewater duty, combining the higher flow of a cutter pump with the head pressure and grinding benefits of a grinder. Its external cutter mechanism cuts solids before they enter the pump, cutting down on blockages and making maintenance far simpler than a standard sewage pump. It's suitable for residential use as well as industrial, agricultural, mining and dairy wastewater transfer applications.
Fully Pre-Assembled, Ready To Install
Every unit arrives with piping and valves already fitted, including a 40mm brass discharge outlet with a 40mm poly pipe connector, a brass ball valve and a swing check valve. A PVC barrel union means the pump can be removed for servicing without cutting into the plumbing, so a plumber can connect it and move on rather than assembling fittings on site.
High Level Alarm And Easy Servicing
A pre-installed visual and audible high level alarm gives early warning if the pump ever falls behind, backed by a dedicated outdoor power point for straightforward electrical connection. Lifting lugs make the unit easier to position during installation, and the 500kg rated lid stands up to regular foot traffic once it is in the ground.

What's the difference between this and the stormwater/grey water pump station?
The pump itself. This sewer/black water version uses a hybrid grinder and macerator pump with an external cutter mechanism to cut solids before they enter the pump, which the stormwater/grey water version does not need since it isn't handling solids. Both share the same rotationally moulded vessel, alarm system, fittings and lid.
Which size should I choose?
It depends on the volume of water your system needs to handle and the site conditions, which is best worked out with your plumber. All three sizes, 700L, 1000L and 1300L, share the same pump, alarm, fittings and 500kg rated lid, so the choice comes down to capacity.
